Dumb lawyers, shameless crooks

/ 12:02 AM December 31, 2016

The two Bureau of Immigration commissioners who are now in hot water claim that they received the P50-million bribe money from retired senior police superintendent Wally Sombero during an entrapment operation against Jack Lam, which went awry. Their explanation is obviously an afterthought that any freshman law student would brand as poorly crafted, comical and incredible.

Of the P50 million, they turned over only P30 million to Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre as “evidence.” No matter how these nitwits massage and finesse their story about the missing P20 million, the fact is that they could not credibly and satisfactorily explain why they, who are both lawyers, in effect tampered with “evidence,” a no-no in entrapment operations.

I fully agree with Ramon Tulfo: These two immigration commissioners are dumb lawyers. And, may I add, shameless crooks, to boot.
