MAY I suggest that the excess rice which the past Arroyo administration has purchased be given to senior citizens, particularly those who are indigent. Anyway, they have only a few more years to live, so it is incumbent upon our government to extend its assistance to our needy elders.

I know that the social welfare officers in our towns and cities have a list of poor senior citizens who should be entitled to this excess rice.
