I WAS late in preparing something in connection with the Inquirer?s 24th anniversary because I was on sick bay right after ?Ondoy? and ?Pepeng.? Late as I was for the 24th anniversary, I want to be an early bird for the newspaper?s 25th anniversary on Dec. 9, 2010.
I suggest that the Inquirer conduct a promo to identify its ?kababata? who must prove, through birth certificates submitted to the Inquirer on or before the 25th anniversary, that they were born on Dec. 9, 1985. They (Inquirer?s ?kababata?) may be given a plaque boldly proclaiming that he or she is a ?kababata? of the Inquirer.
As they say, early birds catch the worms.
