This is my fifth follow-up letter regarding my retirement from government service last Feb. 12, 2006. My first letter was dated Oct. 9, 2007, the second Nov. 13, 2007, the third March 11, 2008, and the fourth Sept. 8, 2008.
After several trips to the GSIS head office, I was assured by Ms Mercedita D. Tayag, manager, PRMD, that she will attend to my request personally. However, after three months of constant follow-ups nothing has happened. I have also filed several requests using the GSIS official forms and still got no results or answers.
It is very clear that my retirement pension of P 6,713.34 resumed on May 1, 2006 and, based on my outstanding obligations of P 251,630.94, I have already fully paid the whole amount. Last April 2009, if all my pensions were applied to it, the accumulated pension due me would amount to P30,329.34.
It has been 42 months since I retired and nothing good has come out of it. I am not even sure if I would live long enough to enjoy anything from my pension.
My case is not affected by the automation problems with IBM because it can be manually entered in the computer?if only there were one person kind enough to do it.
