Palafox?s position on ?the need to construct a spillway in Parañaque to drain excess water from Laguna Lake to Manila Bay? if only to ?prevent flooding? of the former. Likewise, I am one with the Laguna Vice Mayors League, which is led by Los Baños Vice Mayor Procopio Alipon, in its resolution appealing to our government, particularly the Laguna Lake Development Authority, to undertake the dredging and desilting of Laguna de Bay to restore it to its former depth and thus solve the problem of flooding in the towns and cities along the lake.
