Who supplied Alabang boys’ drugs?

Philippine Daily Inquirer
First Posted 00:08:00 01/06/2009

Filed Under: Illegal drugs, Crime, PDEA-DOJ bribery issue

This refers to the news story titled “PDEA ready to tell all .” (Philippine Daily Inquirer, 1/1/09) Maj. Ferdinand Marcelino’s rejection of a sizable “bribe” is highly commendable but it is hoped that his virtue will not destroy his career or cause his demotion. What he has done should be emulated by all those who hold powerful positions.

But what puzzles me is this: The three young men caught in the drug buy-bust operation must have been getting their illegal stuff from a bigger source. Why haven’t the news reports made any mention of this?

The real supplier has now gone. Where’s the lapse in the law enforcement and investigation?
