Paging DSWD: Neglected poor ‘residing’ below interchange

01:00 AM May 11, 2016

Passing along the Osmeña Highway (SLEx), northbound from Edsa to De la Rosa Street in Makati, motorists won’t fail to notice the poor and destitute families dwelling underneath the Magallanes Interchange, on the center island under the Skyway, and on the fringes of the  PNR railtrack.

Are these poorest of the poor families and individuals included in the much-touted 4Ps or conditional cash transfer by the outgoing Aquino administration?

If so, the Department of Social Welfare and Development should immediately extend a helping hand to these less fortunate people.
