SSS still to heed ‘final and executory’ EC award
I AM Nida M. Divinagracia, widow of Delfin G. Divinagracia who carried SS ID No. 02-0198465-3. My husband qualified for death benefit per CA-GR No. SP 124416 dated
Feb. 14, 2012. The Entry of Judgment states that the decision on the award is final and executory, which means due and demandable in August 2012.
I have made various follow-ups with the Social Security System’s Tarlac branch, all of which yielded no results.
I’ve been waiting for almost a year now with no end in sight to my problem. I would like to ask President Aquino and SSS president Emilio de Quiros to order the top management of the SSS, especially SSS Tarlac, to pay the Employment Compensation benefit due my husband’s family, in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 626.
