Grace Poe’s lead in most polls, more than anything, shows that the people have had enough of President Aquino’s inept, porky, antipeople and massacre-prone administration. Liberal Party and Mr. Aquino’s bet Mar Roxas is kulelat, while the ratings of Vice President Jejomar Binay, while still a member of the Aquino Cabinet, slid.

Poe’s rise may be attributed to her “independent” stance, and her distancing from Mr. Aquino and the corrupt LP. support the fight for a national minimum wage hike and an end to contractualization, end the privatization of public utilities, and fight for genuine land reform and freedom for political prisoners.
