Bam has yet to secure Kaya Natin’s full backing
This refers to the news item titled “Bam enters politics ahead of cousin Kris,” (Inquirer, 7/3/12). On behalf of Kaya Natin! Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership, I wish to clarify that we have not formally endorsed any senatorial candidate aside from Kaya Natin cofounder Grace Padaca and one of our Kaya Natin champions, Quezon Rep. Erin Tañada for the upcoming 2013 national elections.
Although there are individual members and champions of Kaya Natin personally supporting the candidacy of Bam Aquino, such as myself, let me make it clear that our organization has not yet made a collective decision on whether or not to support his candidacy in the upcoming elections.
Rest assured that we will inform the Inquirer should Kaya Natin decide to come out with
a formal endorsement of any particular senatorial candidate.
