E-mail request addressed to SSS undelivered

08:47 PM September 13, 2011

I sent an e-mail to [email protected] and to [email protected], to request the transfer of my monthly SSS pension from the Bank of the Philippine Islands to TD Canada Trust. As a permanent resident in Canada, I cannot personally renew my ATM card for my savings account for my SSS pension every year. My going back to the Philippines to renew my ATM card is very costly and impractical.

The only logical solution to my problem is the direct deposit of my SSS monthly pension to a bank here in Canada where I have a savings account. My husband did the same thing. He requested Social Security Administration in the United States of America to transfer his monthly pension from the Bank of the Philippine Islands to TD Canada Trust. His request was granted at once. I hope, SSS Philippines will grant my request soonest.

My e-mail to [email protected] and to [email protected] was undelivered. I do not know the cause of the failure to deliver it. Through the Inquirer, I hope my request will reach SSS and be given prompt and kind attention by the SSS itself.
