Let President Duterte be his own person

My wish is that Filipinos don’t get offended with the remark “your God is a stupid God.”

President Duterte did not state that God is stupid. He has his personal knowledge of God. What is at issue is our concept of God.

The President has the propensity to speak his mind, and loud at that.

Let him be his person, and allow the person in him to flourish, albeit clad with imperfections, no different from us.

The President’s term will end for sure. He shall pass on his mandate to another person. When he goes, may he leave understood, and loved.
