Kim-Trump summit: A great start

It used to be “Veni, vidi, vici” — I came, I saw, I conquered. But today? They came, they smiled, they had their photos taken and they talked.

Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un will keep talking; they appear to want to be friends. North Korea will start to think about being nice, it will send home any remains from the Korean War, and—that’s all there is to see, folks.

It isn’t much, but it’s a great start. And if their agreement
actually sticks, then the world will feel safer.
