Finally, the Communist Party of the Philippines and New People’s Army were declared terrorist organizations.

My family and I are happy over this development. We believe that justice has been served after waiting for 10 years since these terrorist groups killed my brother who was just a small-time businessman. They killed him without mercy when he refused to pay a “revolutionary tax” and they also destroyed his equipment.

Our family suffered a lot because of those people. Those who were working under my brother lost their jobs.

Maybe for others this is not enough, but tagging them as terrorist groups is the best retribution we could ever get for their crime.
