War against vandals

05:01 AM September 05, 2017

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Danilo Lim could make his mark as an “action man” if he could rid the metropolis of all kinds of vandalism except on designated art streets.

Lim should wage a war against vandals defacing the walls of public and private properties in major and minor thoroughfares with the full support and cooperation of city governments. He should instruct mayors to fully implement the anti-vandalism ordinance.

Edsa is one classic example of how to “uglify” a white wall on both sides of the avenue.
