Sickest joke

/ 12:00 AM May 02, 2017

After reading George del Mar’s letter, “Eligibility for public office: must have ‘helped me win’” (Opinion, 3/27/17), I googled the name “Mocha Uson” and there she was on the internet in all her most immoral persona as a self-proclaimed sex guru. She was practically making every show she was appearing on a porn site.

Yeah right—I, too, read somewhere that she has changed and no longer indulges in advertising her obscenities. Regardless, those video clips are there to stay “for all eternity.” No doubt, her children and grandchildren will get to see those shows.

And President Duterte had no problem appointing her to the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board which is supposedly in charge of safeguarding “public morals” in movies and television?  Of all the people he has appointed to various positions in government based on “debts of gratitude,” Uson has got to be the sickest joke his administration has inflicted on this nation.

Of the more than 16 million voters who made him win, can’t the President find anyone more sensible and decent?
